Memorial Board
Our Memorial Board
awards two $1,000 scholarships annually; one each to a grad in the
field of Gerontology at OSU and PSU.
Unit 1:

SREA annual
scholarships go to two future teachers who are in their last terms in
the teacher training program. This year each winner received $600 to
go toward their college expenses. Both recipients spoke at one of the
SREA meetings. Contributed by Ruth Aydelott,
Unit 2 President.

Aydelott is chairman of the School House at the Oregon State Fair.
She is always looking for volunteers to help at fair time.

Souls project to help provide footwear to children in need

their campaign for library card sign-up

one or two $750.00 scholarships to upper division college student
majoring in education. Funds are generated from our annual
Christmas Bazaar and Raffle.

Yamhill County-Unit

Unit 37 gives a $1,000
award to a student in Yamhill County attending
Linfield, George Fox College , or
Western Oregon University in Monmouth (WOU). The funds may be used at
the discretion of the student teacher—for supplies, clothes, gas,
etc. The recipient is a guest speaker at one of the Unit’s spring
meetings.

are resources to reach out and support this effort. If you would like
